The teaching at ZSDA done with a warm, caring, friendly and engaging nature, fellow learners' encouragement and nudging to make everyone around them better, constantly stretches your children just that wee bit more, helping them set higher expectations for themselves and meet them with a wonderful sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. The good teachers at ZSDA answer all their students’ questions, taking genuine interest in their progress which helps them form a bond with their students.
ZSDA's Executive Director Vanna Diptiman is a role model and a good educator for my daughter Khushi. One of the main reasons that we sought out to have Khushi, who is a shy soft spoken teenager, to go through the Speech and Debate classes, was to get her to open up and come out of her shell. Within a couple of months, we noticed improvement in her confidence and in her ability to present her arguments with data. When I brought myself to watch the debate round (against my daughter's wish), I was pleasantly surprised and awed to see her prepare, think about the topic, be very articulate in presenting her thoughts and also in her cross examining her opponent. The judges comments and feedback have always been spot on to help the kids understand their opportunities and constantly improve.
