ZSDA Academic Calendar 2026-2027*

Here is the Academic Year’s Saturday Class Schedule:

Juniors:

• Intro to Junior Speech – Saturdays 2-3 PM
• Intermediate Junior Speech - Saturdays 3-4 PM
• Advanced Junior Speech – Saturdays 1-2 PM

Seniors:

• Intro to Senior Speech only – Saturdays 12- 1 PM
• Intro to Senior Speech & Debate – Saturdays 1-3 PM (in person) and alternate Wednesdays 7-8:30 PM (online)
• Intermediate Senior Debate – Saturdays 3-5 PM (in person) and alternate Wednesdays 7-8:30 PM (online)
• Advanced Senior Debate – Saturdays 4-5 PM (in person) asynchronous schedule and alternate Wednesdays 7-8:30 PM (online)

ZSDA Academic Calendar 2026-2027*

Fall 2026:

• Junior Speech Tournament - Nov  7, 2026 - afternoon 
• Senior Speech Tournament - Nov. 14, 2026 - afternoon
• Debate Tournament - Dec. 12, 2026 - all day

Spring 2027:

• Junior Speech Tournament - April 10, 2027 - afternoon
• Senior Speech Tournament - April 17, 2027 - afternoon
• Debate Tournament - April 24, 2027 - all day

*Our calendar may be subject to change due to external factors – should that occur, ample notice will be provided to the best of our ability.

• Rounds are mandatory.
• Held every other Wednesday night from 7PM – 8:30PM CST with one’s partner, an opposing team, an experienced judge and the Directors.
• Postings are published the week before the round and the pre-debate checklist must be followed as disseminated.
• If there are to be any schedule conflicts, the Academic Director should be notified at least 7 days in advance.
• Schedule to be released to the students via Slack.
• Schedule may be subject to change - should that occur, students will be notified at the earliest convenience.
