ZSDA Academic Calendar 2025-2026*

Here is the Academic Year’s Saturday Class Schedule:

• Intro to Junior Speech – Saturdays 2-3 PM
• Intermediate Junior Speech - Saturdays 3-4 PM
• Advanced Junior Speech – Saturdays 4-5 PM
• Intro to Senior Speech only – Saturdays 12- 1 PM
• Intro to Senior Speech & Debate – Saturdays 1-3 PM (in person) and alternate Wednesdays 7-8:30 PM (online)
• Intermediate Senior Debate – Saturdays 3-5 PM (in person) and alternate Wednesdays 7-8:30 PM (online)
• Advanced Senior Debate – Saturdays 4-5 PM (in person) asynchronous schedule and alternate Wednesdays 7-8:30 PM (online)

Fall 2025:

• Junior Speech Tournament - Nov  8, 2025
• Senior Speech Tournament - Nov. 15, 2025
• Debate Tournament - Dec 8, 2025

Spring 2026:

• Junior Speech Tournament - April 11, 2026
• Senior Speech Tournament - April 18, 2026
• Debate Tournament - April 25, 2026

*Our calendar may be subject to change due to external factors – should that occur, ample notice will be provided to the best of our ability.

• Held every other Wednesday night from 7PM – 8:30PM CST with one’s partner, an opposing team, and an experienced judge.
• Postings are published the Wednesday before the round and the pre-debate checklist must be followed as disseminated.
• Rounds are mandatory.
• If there are to be any schedule conflicts, the Academic Director should be notified at least 7-10 days in advance.
• Schedule for Fall 2025 - to be released to the students via Slack.
• Schedule may be subject to change - should that occur, students will be notified at the earliest convenience.
