At ZSDA, we are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy will give our current families as well potential new families to our community, insights on what information we collect, how we use it, and most importantly, how we keep it safe. At ZSDA, we have held steadfast to the belief that we will create a safe and fun learning space for our students to thrive in and that includes their privacy.
What Information Do We Gather?
In order to best serve you, we may ask you to provide certain personal details like your name, email address, contact number, and student’s age to help us contact you and to help identify the right program for your student. When you enroll in our camps and annual programs, we may ask for additional information like the student's name and pertinent details.
Usage data: At ZSDA, we believe in continuous improvement in not only our teaching methods and tools but also in ways that we can serve you better by providing you the information that is most relevant and helpful. We will collect usage information such as IP address, browser type and version, and the pages you visit and other diagnostic data.
Cookies: Similar to other websites, we use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity and to improve and analyze our services.
For all of our students, including those under the age of 13, we garner information solely based on what you provide to us at the time of registration. This information is used solely internally within ZSDA and we do not provide personal information of children to third parties for any reason.
How Do We Use This Information?
ZSDA will never sell your personal information. Our purpose of collecting personal information about the students and parents is to communicate our service offerings and to teach our students appropriately when they enroll into a certain class offering.
We will only collect the minimum amount of personal information needed and only when it is required to offer you our services and this includes our youngest students between the ages of 10 and 13. Personal data on our students is only collected by what is shared by parents or guardians of the student. Some information may be shared with collaborators to complete transactions and also support site operations and maintenance. These parties are also bound by law to treat your private information as private. Your information may be shared to comply with a litigation demand or in case of fraud or misuse. We will always strive to secure all private information and keep it safe.
Deleting Your Personal Data
You have the right to delete the personal information you have shared about you and your student. If you do not wish to be a part of our ZSDA community, please contact us and we’ll address it accordingly.
Changes to Our Privacy Practices:
ZSDA reverses the right to update our Privacy Policy from time to time to best serve our community and to comply with laws as they change and evolve.
